1.2 Artist Verification
For artist verification, we collect portfolio samples, proof-of-process documentation, and optionally, government-issued identification for Verified+ status.
1.3 Transaction Data
We collect information related to commissions, including commission details, communications, quotes, milestones, payment information (processed by Stripe), and portfolio purchases.
1.4 Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, and device information. Analytics data via Google Analytics is collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
1.5 Communications
We store messages exchanged between clients and artists, support ticket conversations, and feedback submissions to provide our services and resolve issues.
1.6 Age Verification & Consent Records
Before an account can be created we ask for your date of birth and check that you meet the minimum age of 13. We store that date of birth on your account, along with the date and time you accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, so that we can demonstrate that the age requirement was met and that your consent was given.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we block it from using the Platform and delete the account and the personal data associated with it.

3. Information Sharing
3.1 With Other Users
Your public profile information is visible to other users. Commission details are shared between the client and artist involved.
3.2 Service Providers
We share data with third-party services that help us operate the platform, including:
- Stripe for payment processing and Connect payouts
- Google Analytics for usage analytics
- Base44 for hosting and infrastructure
- Email service providers for transactional emails
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
4.1 Identity Documents
Government-issued IDs submitted for Verified+ status are stored securely with encryption and are only accessible to authorized administrators for verification purposes.
4.2 Uploaded Files
Files you upload to the Platform, such as portfolio pieces, commission reference images, dispute evidence, and support ticket attachments, are stored on publicly accessible links so that they can be displayed to the users who need to see them. Anyone who has such a link can open the file. Please do not upload documents you consider confidential.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Some data may be retained longer for legal or business purposes.

7. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and remember whether you have already made a cookie choice. These are necessary for the Platform to work and are always set.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how the Platform is used. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you accept them, and nothing is collected before you make a choice. You can decline analytics when the banner appears, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
8. Age Requirements
The Platform is for people aged 13 and over. We ask for your date of birth before an account can be created, and it is verified automatically, so nobody under 13 can create an account. Accounts registered by anyone under 13 are not permitted: they are blocked from using the Platform and deleted, together with the personal data associated with them.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at privacy@ineedartists.com and we will remove the account and its data.
Users must be 18 years or older to view NSFW content, purchase a Verified+ subscription, or take part in paid transactions.
9. International Users
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using our platform, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification.
